Hello readers!

Welcome to ‘The Sugarcoated Life,’ my blog about delicious confections, tales of travel, and the ups and downs of life at a huge university. I am very excited to finally be doing something that I have been dreaming of for years- writing my very own blog. As a procrastinator, being at this point right now where I have actually accomplished a goal, is huge. I decided that since I am about to begin a new chapter in my life, I might as well chronicle the details so as to be able to reflect one day and say “Ah, those were the days.” My original goal was to create solely a baking blog, but seeing as I am starting college soon, I am not sure how feasible it will be to constantly be baking and sharing recipes with you. I would like to point out that not all of my recipes are original, instead I lean toward typing in whatever decadent, rich, or creamy dessert I am craving into a search engine, and testing out a recipe that pops up. I will of course always link back to the original recipe if it is not of my own creation. Additionally, if you have a recipe that you have been dying to try out and haven’t had the time, are too intimidated by its complexity, etc., I would love to test it out myself! I will be sure to post about every dessert I create with many pictures to follow. (I love pictures)!
